The 2015 Chilifest – a Hot Hit!
My wife Maggie, my sidekick Rick Beneteau, and I arrived at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts at 9:30 a.m. with signs, posters, cards, CD’s, laptops and a sound system in order to be ready for the crowds that would start showing up for lunch at 11:00, hungry for chili and eager to help out Sparky and the Windsor Firefighters in their annual drive to help families and children this Christmas.
What an awesome crowd it was! Bridget Chippett and Sean Costello, event organizers and both with the Windsor Firefighters, did an awesome job of lining the huge room with 40 of the best chili’s you’d ever sink a spoon into and making sure every guest left feeling full and happy knowing they’d be making a lot of kids happy this Christmas! They also made sure we had everything we needed to share the music on The Peace of Christmas CD with the throngs and add to the Sparky’s Toy Drive fund with each one sold.
I had the pleasure of autographing many Peace of Christmas CD’s during the three hours of Chilifest. Here are two of my friends, Gary and Sharon, after receiving their copies.
It’s not too late to have me sign your CD. Just click here and I’ll rush one to your door in time for the holidays! Remember, Sparky will receive another $5.00 bill when you do!

AM800’s Arms Bumanlag was broadcasting “live from the Chilifest” mentioning how The Peace of Christmas was helping Sparky. Andrea Grimes from BizX Magazine was there and she set up an interview with me for the January, 2016 edition. I’ll be handing Sparky my donation check close to Christmas after we tally the proceeds from a global outreach we’re calling The Magical mp3 that will start right after U.S. Thanksgiving. We are confident that people in all parts of the world will find it in their hearts to help the kids in Canada’s southern most city:-)
